...like many others, I find myself thinking not about the passing year, but the passing decade as we move into January 2010.
I am a little amazed that everything that I've done, that has happened, and has changed, and what hasn't changed. Thinking about a decade instead of a year makes me so excited for what is to come, both what I know about and what there is no way I can even imagine from where I am sitting today. These pictures may be from the last 2 - 3 years, but they hold true for the past 10!
In the Naughts...in no real order...
I graduated college. I lived in DC, Boston, and Providence.
I had my first major relationship. I got my MBA. I had my first "real" job. I bought my first car.
I called home for financial help. I learned to knit, quilt and embroider.
I learned the importance of a budget. I left my first job. I shared apartments with my best friends. I went to Spain, Florida, China, Indiana, Maine, Texas and Vermont.
I was a bridesmaid five times. I bought a house. I read many, many books. I went on a knitting cruise. I joined a bookclub. I went on two cruises - a sailing, knitting cruise and a drinking, bookclub cruise. I got a dog. I became a godmother and an aunt. I started this blog. I got engaged. I ran several 5ks. I finally got a good hair cut. That's not everything...just the big milestones that come to mind right away.
It was a good 10 years. For more pictures... go here.
