Everyone in my house has the day off today - making it Great Friday! We started the day catching up on sleep (damn you, 5 AM weekday wake up time), going out to breakfast, running errands (we now own a lawn mower, a shop vac and a garden hose) and then some home improvement projects.

It's only 4 PM, and we now have towel bars installed, twelve different kinds of veggies planted in seed starting greenhouses, a clean dog (ah, sunshine and warm enough weather for an outside dog bath) and best of all, photographic documentation of the amazing succulent plants we found growing on the stone border of our front yard garden bed.

What WILL the rest of the weekend bring?!
